Someone is sending me a blues harp track to include in a song soon. A solo, some fills.
I'm hoping it will sound pretty good straight off the bat (his recordings sound very good normally), but I may ned to do some work to get it sitting right in the mix.
I'm anticipating needing some light compression, some taming of the high end (and maybe low) and a fair bit of volume automation... but that's based on no experience at all.
Any tips on how to handle harmonica? Anything I should know? Or do you treat it much like you would a lead guitar?
