Hey folks! Here's a tune that I just finished recording called "Blueprint". It's one of my more mellow tunes (can't make 'em all fast i guess) with acoustic guitar, (real) drums, bass, and vocals. This also marks my first "real" attempt to record live drums...I used a Studio Projects B1 and C1 as overheads, and stuck at SM58 in front of the bass drum. I'm not exactly thrilled with the sound, but I don't think it's that bad all things considered. I had to mute one or two miss-hits, but it's all pretty much there.

if you care, here's the gear I used...
Mics: Studio Projects C1 and B1...SM58 (only on bass drumm)
Pre-Amp: M-Audio Audio Buddy
Outboard Compressor: Behringer Ultra Dyne Pro
Recorder: Roland VS-880EX
Guitars: Larrivee LV-03E (main rhythm), Guild
Bass: my bass players sweet bass (can't remember name)
Bass DI: Behrninger Bass V-Amp
Drums: Whatever that his set is...just bass, snare, high-hat, 1 tom, 1 cymbal
Let me know what you think.
Enjoy!
