now I feel extremely jealous,but congratualtions.
With my blueberry, I have found that distances of less than one inch make a difference on the sound. You really have to experiment with the distance to get that WOW sound out of it.

This mic is pretty hot, signal wise. Backing off from the source doesn't hurt at all. In fact, the more "air" you give it, the better it seems to work. It definately has a distinctive color to it. Not a flat mic at all, but that coloration seems to provide a really big presence.
