blue line plugins?

Will these plugins work with CWPA 9? Their page hasnt been updated in awhile and the newest version of CWPA listed is 7.

I'm sure the DirectX versions will work fine.

They were free, do you know of any plugs that are free and are better quality?
 
Check postings in this forum going back a few months. I tried out the Blue line compressor along with a bunch of others, in CWP9 under Win 98. It seemd to cause quite a bit of buggy behavior. Sounded OK when it worked though, and the problems vanished after I removed it, so it would probably do no harm to try it.
 
I've been using the Blue Line for a few months now w/HS 2002.I pretty much only use the reverb and the compressor and I think they are quite nice.The presets suck(as do the presets on most things)but with a little tweaking they sound quite nice.I haven't had any trouble with bugs.
 
Blue line plugs

For a no-nag, fully fuctional shareware package, the Blue Line plugins are hard to beat. I especially like the compressor, parametric EQ, and delay a lot -- but you need to create your own presets to get the best results. I also like the Blue Stereo for processing mono sources, i.e. old recordings. I don't care for the reverb, I would instead recommend Jezar's Freeverb, or even better, the RGC Reverb, which appears to be based on the Freeverb code. Good sounding plugs, that don't tie up the system like some others.
 
The blueline stuff isn't bad.I also use freeverb,the vst german version freeverb too.
