Blue Bottlecap Identification

Hey guys , have tried emailing blue ... and to my disappointment havent got much help . So is there anyone that can identify these caps? I bought a Blue Bottle mic for a hell of a price and got 2 bottlecaps with it . I emailed blue pic and they said they would need to see the inside .. the transducer is guess . . so i sent them those pics and havent heard anything in like a week . Hopefully someone here can help . Thanks guys .

There isn't anything on the outside? You would think there would be. Seeing that there are 9 different capsules. If not you have a forgery! Or they will be labeled B0 to B8


My guess is you have a B0 - a LDC and a B1 - a SDC
 
haha def not a forgery . i know there are 9 . I got this set from a pretty big studio in nashville for a little over a grand ... which is a crazy good price ... the transducers are stamped with blue and have serial number .. but the wooden boxes that the caps are kept in (that have the numbers) were not included . What draws you to the conclusion that they would be those two?
 
Oh you have the whole set. AND FOR THAT PRICE!!

It was my understanding that you can purchase a body any a few capsules as a small starter kit and grow from there I thought that is what you had.
 
The bottom one looks like it says "B4" in Sharpie.
 
yeah i thought it might be B4 too ... or could be BA , who knows . sure wish blue would get back at me ... i did find it strange that there was writing on that one though .
 
So they are only marked on the box and not on the capsule?

B0 is a flat grill and a B4 is a rounded dome grill I found that much out.
 
FWIW BLUE will get back to you. Their customer service is top notch.

Send them another email or call them tomorrow to inquire if they got the first one. They will hook you up.
 
yeah its not a b4 , its a flat grille .

and i was REALLY impressed with how fast they got back to me the 1st time ... but i have resent the inside pics twice now and nothing . Will try and call tomorrow .
 
Keep up updated.
Maybe once you find away to identify all of the capsules you should post it for future type questions.
