I've been having a problem with audio tracks bleeding on to the track I am recording. I need to hear the other audio tracks while I record. Am I not using a correct setting somewhere?

Here's an experiment worth trying.
However you monitor pre-recorded tracks or record new ones, Hook it up like you're going to record the next track but don't make a sound. Does it still bleed?

If that don't work... then try setting everything up, give it a preview, and then mute everything excluding the recorded track.... that should work.

Wanted to thank you guys for your replies and offer a solution I found at a roland UA100 website. I had to go to the UA100 mixer and turn the SUB (input) main volume down. that seems to have corrected the problem. Hope this can also help someone else. Aloha.
