Bleeding Tracks Please Help

I have an Emachine with 70GB free.
I have Windos XP.

I have cool edit 2.0

what is happening is the tracks are bleeding together...
1 will go on to 2 and 1 and 2 will go onto 3...

Also there is this red line that goes thru the middle of the track...
I've never had this problem. I just upgraded to a new computer and XP. I used to have windows 98 and never had a problem.
Can anyone help?

Crossposting garbages up the board and makes it difficult to have a sharing of views on the topic at hand.

As a crossposter you can't expect friendliness. And fraserhutch DID say 'please'...
