bleed through

I am new to using cakewalk, I have a copy of pro audio 9- and have a soundblaster pro-audigy soundcard. My question is that my tracks seem to bleed together a bit - similiar to with a four track and I was wondering how to minimize or cut the tracks from washing together.

Do you mean that if you were to solo each audio track, you can clearly hear the other audio tracks as well? Have you checked that under soundcard recording properties you are not using "What you hear" because this has the effect of blending everything when you make a new audio track.

make sure you have "what you hear" in recording/properties unchecked and that should solve your problem with that.
