"Black Haired Woman" original

This is a song of mine, original music and lyrics. This was one of the first recordings I ever did, so the quality is terrible, but I'm just puttin it up here for your listening pleasure I guess. I know there are hundreds of things you could tell me is wrong with the mix, but I'm wondering what you guys think of it as an actual composition?

I'd maybe drop the pause after the verse...to me it feels like too big a drop.
I'd probably add more vocals to the instrumental parts to fill it up a bit more. Either that or add some tasty leads to fill in the instrumental parts. Right now it seems like a long time between verses, with only rhythm guitars.
That's just my take on the composition.... It's a catchy tune though, so I would recommend keeping the riffs and vocals and just build from there.....

The recording isn't that bad BTW....
