Hi All: the black cat mojo guitar called me yesterday. this is a one of a kind, handmade amplified resonator of some sort that was given to me by Paul Sessoms. Paul use to own the black cat lounge in austin. He had this guitar made for me and it comes with a spell on it that has predicted many things in my musical life. Paul has died and this guitar has its own mind. It will only tune up when it wants to. Yesterday it called me and although I haven't touched it in months, it was in perfect tune. Here are some songs from the session:

woke up by mosquitos
riding the backroads
my best feeling girl
lucky man I be
the graveyard

Wow...freaky.

Listened to "Woke Up Mosquitos."

Yep, this guitar has the mojo. Walter, your stuff always sounds great. You've defiantly honed your sound to perfection, and your songs are always fun to listen to. Cool guitar, btw.

thanks ksounds! I appreciate that compliment. It is fun just letting things happen. When I was younger I tried to copy my heros but never did get close. I was always perpelexed at how many people could do that. Walter

Your songs have a feel that would be nearly impossible to capture in a song that wasn't improvised. I've listened a few different times in the past year and I dig it every time.

The resonator sounds fantastic.

thanks Steve-0! I am thankful to have my own approach to music. Sometimes I think "wow, if I approached it like the rest of the world, it would be overwhelming because there would be such a infinite number of people doing it better than I ever could..........." I get lonely sometimes because there isn't a group to relate to about how I do music, but I will take it this way anyday. Thanks for the compliment on the guitar sound. It is a one of a kind, that plays itself. I take no credit. Walter
