At my school we had a really flash studio, but everything got stollen in what can only be described as an absolutely blinding job. The thiefs avoided all the camera's and alarms, and left no finger prints.

The problem is this was about 4 years ago and nobody replaced the studio. I've taken an interest, and have access to some equipment but I'm not sure what else I would need to make the studio useable for all. The main use would be for bands to record music, as well as solo instruments and ensembles. The problem is I have access to a ton of stuff, but no idea what to use. I need to know what I should do for recording a Rock band, drums, singer and backing vocals, two guitars, keyboard and bass guitar.

The current equipment available is;
A 24 track mixing desk, looks the dogs b*****
An kenwood amp, sony cd player, sony minidisc recorder, some half decent speakers and cables.
A set of drum 5 microphones, but no overheads for cymbals or hi-hat.
An empty sound proof room with 24 xlr cables fed through from a large but dead sound non-sound proofed music room.
2 shure sm58's, and 4 shure sm57's
An exmaple of the guitar amps used are a Fender 90 Chorus, twin cones, with all the levelling and inputs outputs etc. The bass amp used is a Carslboro Cobra 90, again all the bits and bobs. There is a brand new behringer 120 keyboard amplifier also available.
A P.A system with power amp with 8 inputs and two large speakers.

Help me!!
