hey,
I just bought a new Tyan MP Motherboard w/ dual 1.0ghz cpu's. I also have a Geforce 2 32mb AGP video card. I have not had this computer boot right yet. I have a stick of 512mb DDR pc2100 RAM. Everytime I try and boot up it will beep 4 times. In the manual it says for a problem with the video initialization then it will beep one long time and then 2 short times. If any other beep sequence then it is probably a memory problem. So I figured that the memory I bought is not compatible with my mobo. I ordered another stick of 256mb DDR from Kingston. I think this will solve the problem, but I would like to get your input. Thanks for the help.
