big monitor hook up issues

Hey guys. I got my krk rp-5's today and i pluged into my us-122 via rca cables. No sound came out. I tried to figure it out and just for the hell of it i turned the phantom power on on the us-122. Then i started to get sound but i was not able to adjust the sound or anything. What the hell is going on. Can someone please help me out? Thanks!!

Hook your KRKs up to the Line Out jacks on the 122.

If you want to direct monitor the signal being recorded into the us122, you have to hav the "Direct" switch set to "On" and then use the "Direct Monitor" knob to control volume.

If you want to monitor the signal from your computer, then you'd switch the "Direct" to "Off" and control your playback volume via the "Line Out" knob.

All of this information is right in the manual, BTW, which not only come with the 122, but is available in full all over the Internet.

If it just does not work as advertised, it's time to call your dealer.
