I just bought this 27-band graphic equalizer from someone on craigslist for $30, and I haven't been able to find out anything about it. Does anyone know anything about this? I mean it is pretty self-explanatory, but I just thought I'd ask.

It's about in the same category as pevey or behringer.:rolleyes:

Thanks guys... that is kind of what I figured. It works pretty well (it has this kind of great, "gritty" sound to it), but there is a lot of noise. Especially, it is picking up some unwanted radio frequencies that I don't really know how to get rid of. Any ideas? I probably don't have it set up exactly right, but I'll keep at it.

Radio noise? could be the wires that you are using.

Well, I have been using these cables with most of my other equipment and I have never had this interference before... However, when you push down on the top of the device in the front left corner, it goes away. I have know idea what is wrong. There is a dent around that area of the eq, so I might open it up and see it I can't fix the dent - maybe that will help.
 
You just might want to....................................sell it on craigslist for $30.;)

If it's picking up radio it will probably have a audio grounding problem that could be a real easy fix. Have a look inside around where you are pressing on the chassis.
