M101, isn't that the omni version of the M201?
The problem is I can't find anything on the Beyer website, but if memory serves me the 101 is like the 201, just omni, where the 201 is hyper cardioid.

It must be a very good dynamic, a pretty rare mic as well.

Beyer mics are great mics, you did well!

It's a very good mic bro! The M201 shines on many applications, even on hi hat, ride cymbal and OH, so I guess the M101 is just as good, but without the proximity and other disadvantages of a cardioid.

Which is why I've been looking to add a couple of M101s to the hoard. Gives me a choice of mics to use for overheads, and another sound for percussion, acoustic instruments and amps (more hi-fi than the EV635A).

No, I meant the M101. I've seen a few go by.

Congrats on the score. I understand the M101 is exactly like the M201 except for the different pattern. RE (moderator) has an M201 that he used doing my daughter's band. Very nice mic. I'd like to own one, but I found a pair of ATM23HE that I couldn't pass by.
