After researching mobos on this board & elsewhere, I went with one with a VIA KT266A chipset. Many board members reassured me that the problems with the VIA's were solved & these were good boards. After 3 weeks of troubleshooting my clicks & pops, Midiman tells me that the KT266A chipsets are no good with their products. This is my own fault, I should have called Midiman before I bought the board. I post this as a warning to other people researching Mobo's. If you are using M-Audio soundcards (especially the RPC-1), stick to AMD chipsets (they are the only ones Midiman recommends) or go with a pentium.
