last time i posted,the songs were on garageband,and could only be streamed.here they are in downloadable form. im more interested in comments and tips in my songwriting,rather than my actuall recording.theres two songs,thanks for listening!

Hey Jager, I listened to "Broken down" day or so ago, dont know if I replied or not but I liked it. As for this new track, I think it's a great tune, with alot of neat stuff happening in it. The lead might be a little aggressive coming in(just my opinion, and it might not be I'll have another go at it later). but it's a very good song man and one that i would surley listen to again. Enjoyed it.
 
thanks for listening! geez,it seems unless youre a "regular" around here,its hard to get people to even listen to your stuff.ive listened to some very well written/recorded music on this site done by people who arent "well known" or should i say very "vocal" on this bbs. and no one comments or seems to notice. while other "regulars" here sometimes post such complete crap,that im a actually embarressed for them,and people absolutley PRAISE them. im not naming any names,and im not even saying its a BAD thing,its just an observation.it kind of reflects life.

nice work Jager....I think you've got some great tunes

songwriting wise, I can't give you any pointers, just write what your heart tells you and sounds good to your ears...that's about it....

I think your stuff is awesome, pretty unique. I can't say "oh that sounds like such and such band" or anything....

Keep it up, I think it's really good.

Anyhow, I'm enjoying so beautiful. THe melody is so beautiful, and this is accentuated by your very good voice.

The only thing I can pick out is that while the vocal sounds good as it is, I think it could do with some more air.

Oh, I don't mind you commenting on my singing in tune. It makes me more conscious of it and more inclined to improve.

yo jager,

try to boost around 12 khz.

Also mess wth 1 k. boosting a tiny bit there might help with the vocal cutting a bit more.
 
ok thanks,ill try that.it does need to "breath" a little more.
