The only DJ equipment I've seen in NEW YORK city is at Bestbuy and god knows they don't have a lot. So any idea where in NY is the best place to get a feel for these things other than BestBuy?

I don't know squat about either dj stuff or NY, but I know there's got to be a thousand places to get it in NY. I mean, I could find all kinds of crap here, and I'm in freakin' Indiana!

Definitely B&H. h*t*tp://www*bhphotovideo*com They have the best deals on a lot of professional music equipments. I have bought a mic on their website. I heard they have the official store only in New York so you might want to check them out. You can't find stores like this a lot of times so you are lucky to live in New York man. haha.
