Hey guys.. long time reader, but haven't been into producing for a long while and starting to get back into the swing of things.
Just had a quick question regarding VST in Cubase SX.
So currently I have a swath of vst instruments running in a session I have been starting to work in, and am wondering if there is any way to send to an fx track from a midi track. For instance, I have Kontakt playing a bunch of drum samples that I've looped and sequenced in cubase..
is there any way to send to a seperate fx track that I've set up?? Its easy to do it with raw audio files imported to the pool, but what about the audio coming out of kontact?? Is there any way to effect that outside of the sampler itself??
Also, I often used the feature in Pro Tools where you can route whatever audio you have going on into one track, and then record that audio down to one track.. like doing a mini-mix down from say 8 tracks into 2.. is there any way to do the same in cubase??? I've never been able to figure that out.. does cubase even have that feature??
Thanks to anyone who can help
