Best VOCAL EFFECTS under a grand?

I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with using a good amount of Echo or phasers and trippy effects with vocals.....

I've tried some line 6 gear and it sounds ok, but I'm trying to stay away from non true bypass stuff......I also need to be able to use it live as in a stomp box or a rack unit......Anyone know of the best under a grand?

TC Helicon has some great vocal effects boxs in that range, some specially designed for live work, some targeted at the studio... I've got the Voice Works, and it's kind of a cool toy, but doesn't get frequent use
 
Yeah the TC helicon vocal create and correct are both decent vocal effects in a stomp box format that works pretty well live. I use both and love them. They really sound great.


Oh yeah and they are only $250 each.

Awesome guys!

I've been hearing of TC for vocal effects for years but never tried em out.....I'm now starting to become more of a tone snob for my guitar and vocals.

I'll have to go demo them somewhere. Thanks for the advice!
