I dont sing....

I am learning to play the 120 key bass accordion :P

an accordion has a much more harmonic tone than any voice i have ever heard :D

3 reasons...

1. I LOVE ACCORDION MUSIC
2. I collect accordion music and record it on most of my tape reels
3. I am learning to play the accordion

ok i lied

i used to sing in a quior when i was younger.
And i did enjoy it.

Mostly we would hold a sesion in evening to late and sometimes in the day.

Is it true >>>>

That after a nuclear war that only the accordions will survive ? lol ...

Well it's random for me, but I voted for after midnight. i just finished recording a 10 track cd and not one of the vocal tracks I recorded started before midnight. I'm not much of a talker and I wake up around 2pm. So my vocal chords aren't tired and I'm good at pushing notes till about 5am. Then it's sleeepy time. However, (and I could've just been too tired that night) I tried recording a new song one night and just could not hit a high note for anything, I woke up in the morning and hit it the first try (within 10 minutes of being awake too).. crazy how some things are just like that.

Kensington, I believe the quote is, "For I contain multitudes.." Which also goes for my ex-wife.
On subject, it would depend upon what is being recorded for me. Morning is good for low end, evenings are good for vocal arpeggios, and no time is good for operatic solos, at least with my voice or lack thereof.

I like to record after midnight, as I don't like people hearing my record my vocals. (Because.... I am wearing headphones, so... you would just be hearing me sing with no backing track, which would be weird for people upstairs).

Anyway.... I can record aafter midnight at full volume and nobody complains. I have 2 bales of Roxul stuffed in the drop ceiling, so I can play drums at 4 am and my wife and son can't hear my upstairs.

I'm not a singer, but i chose after midnight because i feel I'm most creative then, maybe part because I am at work and school most days from 7am - 8pm so it isnt until midnight or later that I feel relaxed and have time :)

After midnight. The A/C gets a break from the summer heat. The road traffic is non-existent. There's no sun drawing you out and about. And you're finally able to put your work day behind you and focus on what you care about. Assuming that you're not fighting fatigue or other things to deliver a performance worth recording.

Definition of a gentleman:

A man who can play accordion...........................but doesn't.

Just kidding, I have one and play (well, try to) and love it!
