Cant sing in the morning....Not that I can sing ever, but in the morning really sucks..

Only thing I have online is from my old band, 64firebird was lead gtr and I'm on keys. Not me singing BTW.

lol... actually, I'd probably go with the afternoon (fuck the delight / starland shit, though:p ) as far as vocals go. That usually gives my lungs a chance to clear out from the Cigs and what-have-you from the night before. I couple of shots of pepermint schnapps hits the spot as well. Morning?....... Man, I've had to do some gigs that started at 10:00am... ...that's a tough one for sure... ...just finishing yer coffee, and going right into the schnapps:eek:
 
definately not in the morning, once recorded a lill punkrock band, we slept in one house for a few days, and when we woke up we just couldn't record the vocalist... he felt like shit, sounded like shit

even now i can put my cd with all the wave tracks in my pc and listen to it, and i'll know which ones were recorded during the morning

i really prefer singing at night, when its dark and calm and silent,
after a few joints with hash, that gives my throat a more 'crackle' or dry sound and i like that;.. (yeah...i'm a marilyn manson fan :eek: )

i want DAAARRKKKNEESSSS
 
my old band used to practise at a rehearsal place/studio starting from 9 in the morning so we all had to wake up about 8 oclock then go and get the train to the reahearsal place , i sang and played guitar, i just sould not sing in the morning i felt sick if i was doing any screaming and we'd never get anything done cos we'd all be too tired, we practised at that time because it was cheapest.
 
Of cousre I can't sing but when I make an attempt it's got to be at least the afternoon. So Afternoon delight! That sounds gay. :eek:
 
Last time we recorded, we spent friday night and all day saturday recording the music, then recorded vocal starting at 8 sunday morning. Our singer just ate a bunch of honey, drank some milk, and was ready to go. It sounded great.

Voodoo BS! Milk could be the worst thing to drink when you need to sing, thickens mucus. If you want to really open up then I suggest a shot of Jack Daniels.
 
I sing whenever with good results.
But the easiest time of day to sing? if i had a preferance??
I'd say the evening.
A little peppermint tea and some honey, im good to go.

I can never sing, but after I get kicked in the gonads I can sound like the guy from The Darkness. :p
