Morning all!
I have now got together what I believe is enough equipment for a decent starter home studio. I'm quite happy with using each individual piece in it's own right, but I would like to know the best way to integrate all the bits and pieces. For example-my pc has a sound card with front panel inputs-can they be used as well as the inputs on the saffire 14? The gear I have is:-

PC--mixcraft and audigy zs soundcard
tascam DP02-cf
Focusrite Saffire 14
Boss RC-20XL
Simmons SDMP1
Various mics
Guitars-acoustic, acoustic/electric and electric
Electric bass
Yamaha S90

You wont be using your onboard sound card at all for music production now that you have a dedicated audio interface ( the Saffire ).

Plug everything into the saffire.
