Best Recording Software to use with BOSS BR1200

Just bought this BR1200. This so far seems to be a great tool for me - my end goal is to record some demos to solicit songs. I'm still working my way through the manual, but from what I've heard mastering the songs on software is easier and produces better quality CDs than just doing straight on the BR1200. Any thoughts on that? If that is true, what software would you suggest that is user friendly and works good with this system?

I suggest you do some reading first - any software will work with the outputted files of the Boss recorder. Mastering isn't just a matter of plugging the files into software and hitting a button, though.
