Solved Best Project Studio Monitors????

Check your MF catalogs dating early this year and you will find that before the alesis blowout sales the monitor ones were selling for 299.00 each 600.00 a pair.
 
Pardon my incredible density this evening, but I'm still not seeing (or perhaps trying to read too much into) the relationship. What does the current price of LSR25P's have to do with the prices of Alesis Monitor I's early in the year???

Earlier in the year you could get the Alesis's for $600/pr that suck, and now for $475/pr you can get the JBL's that rock.......

Actually, at the very same time (January, 2001) you could get the JBL's for $600 at Mars, with a $100 factory mail-in rebate. The audio gods were looking after this newbie when he was guided to that deal. :D

I got a 6 month jump on the JBL rush!!!

event 20/20s are a great choice, and you wont have to mortgage your house and family.
 
Well I think that they are reccomended by some of the top engineers in this bbs, but with a 5" woofer and a tinnie sounding tweeter I would bet that fatigue comes early listening to those.

Just my opinion, some of us like them fine.:rolleyes:
