$1,200 budget. Lotsa good choices. Here's some thoughts:

1) ADK TT ($800 street price -eBay authorized ADK dealers) plus a Shure SM81.

2) Studio Project T3, AT 4050, and a Shure SM81.

3) Soundelux U195

The bass in that guitar can be ahndled with mic placement, mostly.

In that budget range there are some answers...I particularly agree with the ADK TT AND an SM81....this will take care of a LOT of things...You cannot go wrong with either of the Soundelux's mentioned...at this price you could get a matched pair of SDC's ( AKG 451,SM81,SP C4, for example) and an SP mic...possibly a B3....You could be patient and possibly stumble onto a used U87AI (occasionally at this price) ....A used Soundelux U99 can be found at this price...the ADK Commemerative Edition is a reall nice mic.....

For $1200 or less, I would have to say either the Soundelux U195 (Ifet is more expensive than the propsed budget), or an AKG 414 TL.
