best mp3 player ?

what is in your opinion the best mp3 player - free or not free. As I've written in another thread in this forum, I installed winamp which caused my system to "overlook" a .dll file so I couldn't play back or rip cd's anymore. I'm done with winamp ;)
suggestions anyone ?

You might want to check out the free mp3 player that
Steinberg has...go to www.cubase.net and look under
the news section.

i like musicmatch over anything else. i bought it once like 3 years ago and i get lifetime upgrades. you can go to www.Musicmatch.com and get in then send me a email or PM....
 
I have been using shareware Music Match for awhile, and just bought 7.0 deluxe from best Buy for like $15. I use it on my MP3 server which has over a thousand tracks on it, and it was recomendedto me as the only program that could put that many files into its index and not yak.
 
thanks to you all, I think I'll stick with musicmatch, the only reason I tried winamp was that there is an awesome analyser plug for it ..... guess I don't need it that much ;)

Weird... I've had no problem loading over 5,500 mp3s into Winamp, when I'm in the mood for the "what song is it gonna pick next?" shuffle thing. :) YMMV, I suppose... but I love Winamp.
