best/most realistic drums samples

What are the best drum samples that you guys have used? And what sampler are they used on? I've heard some good things about "real giga drums" and "drumkit from hell". Any takes?
 
The best is the one that works best for your song.

They are ALL realistic because all samples are samples of real drums.

There are a gazillion drum sample CD's out there. You can get real samples of your drum hero on CD usually. If it works for your song, great! If not, you probably wasted $50 on drum sounds. :)

discreet is a drum sound creator though?

it seems like a kick ass program ... and the company that makes it makes proggies that nick hexum of 311 uses .. unfortuantely i have PC not MAC and discreet only works on MAC ... what is a GOOD proggie like DD only for PC

Discreet Drums will work on either Mac or PC. Check the website if you have doubts.
 
You didn't just ask that, did you?:D

I have to go with sonusman here: what are you going to use it for? I don't really need samples, just for playing around, so I downloaded the tomhicks samples. Do a search here on the bbs, someone posted the url some time ago.
