Mikes do not 'give off' sibilance. The sibalance is in the voice.

That being said most sibilance is in the 6khz range. Reducing sensitivity there will reduce strong sibilance. That is how most de-essers work.

I would recommend a Micheal Joly modded Oktava MK-319 [or 219], these handles sibilance in a most behaved manner and is wonderful for vocal recordings in general..!

+1 on that! I hate siblance. One of the big stregnths of the Joly modded Oktava MK-319 that I have is the way it handles sibilance.

I'd imagine they would have a little more control over how they enunciate and how much of a "nasal" sound they have.
