I don't know what's worse.. stealing software or sitting in front of a computer without a clue calling yourself a mastering engineer... Ahhhh software, is there anything it can't do ?

There's something that beats both of them...

I always feel sorry for the guy who invariably asks these jokers to do the work for them in the first place. Talk about not having a clue...

you don't have to be sherlock fuckin' holmes to figure out the guy's using illegal software.



right now i'm not too sure who's the loser in all this: the guy who doesn't get his answer because of people bashing on him, or the guys bashing on him, thinking he actually gives a shit and is going to find the path to righteousness through reading some "clever" replies to his query :D
 
The best mastering effect is a special eq called "telephone". This one kicks A$$, you should use it on every song. EVERY ONE. :cool:

exactly. cut frequency below 700hz and above 1.4khz. you will be pleased with a hit, no doubt.

Let's not forget a high quality reverb. Nothing says "Smash #1 Pop Hit" like a special reverb called "Indoor tiled pool". ALL the bigboys use that one, and the chicks dig it. :cool:

personally i prefer the "public toilet" 'verb sound, but you know, anything that's got "tiles" in the name is going to sound "tite".

man for 4200 i would buy some kick butt outboard stuff. Maybe a summit stereo tube compressor or a amek strip.
