I've just layed down the part & I'm blown away, the toms have a depth which I would never have believed possible but have always strived for & the room/ambience is like adding meat to a stew OMIGOD it's huge

yes & I keep meaning to post clips but I've been really busy working on an album

& I've just devised a means of recording 24 channels at once. Basically for doing a live country album with the band I'm in "Johnny Cashless & the Nuclear Cowboys" BUT!!!!! fancy wiring 24 mics on a kit??? let me see, thinks for a second YES!!!!
 
oh I should mention the kit now has a 10 & 12 remo toms making it a 6 piece kit

still on 16 channels though need 20 to do exactly what I want to do & it's comin' soon :D
