Hey Everyone,
I record my own music at home and do all my own instruments. I play real instruments for all parts except My drum set is pretty bad I have no mics to get good sound so if I do try to record it, it sounds horrible. so I have been using drum programs. I started using Acid Pro, but then found Acousitca Beatcraft and like that a little more. However, I do get pretty mechanical drum sounds that dont sound very real. I was wondering if there was any better programs or techniques i could do with the drum tracks to give them a more "live" sound, or at least a more "live" feeling. I recorded the song "A Prayer, A Promise, A Passing" with Acoustica Beatcraft if you need an example of how they sound now. The song is on my myspace at www.myspace.com/christopherflitton
Thanks in advance for the help!
