Well,I have just started to use Cubase after years and I wonder which drum-programme goes best with Cubase? Some people offer me ez-drummer? May I get more advicessss???

Could you perhaps provide some information regarding your criteria? Specifically what kind of music you make and your budget.

I can say ambient and sometimes black metal....I wanna have realistic drum sounds like in live performance....

About budget,I ma student and do not have a job,)

After years of what? I don't know if it's relevant or not, but I thought I'd ask...

XLN has a fully-functional free demo for Addictive drums (only one kit). Certainly won't hurt to try it out... you might like it. I sure as hell do.

For metal of any type you can't go wrong with EZdrummer. If you can afford it you should consider also getting the Drummer From Hell add on for the extra kit and especially the extra midi. You might want to swap out the kick and snare for the original kit though (keep the rest of the DFH kit) and tweak to get the sound you want. Plenty of experienced users here that can give much better advice on how to get the most out of that package.

That's what I was going to suggest... ezdrummer with DFH expansion pack.

to the OP, what version of Cubase do you have. Early versions do not work well with the drag and drop approach of ezdrummer. If you've got SE3 or above, you're good to go.

Groove agent 3

Hands down groove agent 3. I have tried them all, and they by far have the best sounding drums. If you don't like their pre made drums beats you can just make a drum map yourself and make what ever beat you want. Very user friendly as well.
