Best Affordable Equipment Whats Your Advice?

whats the best piece of equipment i could buy to make a hip hop beat and is easy to use... and hook up to computer i heard a korg triton is good but i dont have a clue what you can do on this... anybody got any ideas?

all information is needed please help.

Well to make beats, the Akai MPC range is usually seen as the ultimate. They are not exactly cheap, and there may be cheaper alternatives, I'm no hiphop guru.

The MPC's are basically sampling drummachines, and are way cool.

MPCs look good but you can you sequence a full beat out of it? and you dont have a keyboard with it..... some one clear up my views please.

The MPC is really a very good drum machine (maybe the best) that can also be used to sequence data for any of you other equipment. The things that make the MPC a dope drum machine also make it a version of dope standalone phrase sampler/sequencer.
