bespoke studio build from ground up

i have a lovely 6m x 3.5m foundation at the side of my house and "the boss" has given me the green light to build my own studio. yasss. i have at present 6 pallets of 7n precon blocks and as much timber as you can shake a stick at. i plan to double skin the block wall and finish the inside then build a room within...but what is best for the roof.
also i live in glasgow and would appreciate any info on suppliers of soundproofing materials locally. and any advice will be appreciated. thanks in advance for any help
