What would you say is the best out of these two mics , I have read glowing reviews on both, but I am tempted to go for the Studio Project B?

I've not used the Behringer C-1, but I would point out that Behringer are a difficult company to deal with if your equipment develops faults (there are plenty of horror stories on this website), and Studio Projects have a reputation for looking after their customers.

We don't stock Studio Projects at my shop, so I can't tell you reliability on them, but we are very wary of selling Behringer stuff because it comes back so much more often than it should. If I start selling Studio Projects, I'll let you know what their return rate is like!

In my own experience, the folks at PMI audio (they sell the Studio Projects line) have given excellent support. They're usually just an Email away. As a side note, I've had my two B1's for close to three years and my B3 for about 1-1/2 years, and I've never had a lick of trouble with any of the mics. When I bought my B1's, they came with standard, non-shock-mount mic clips, and I needed to find out how to adjust the tension. I Emailed PMI, and they responded right away, so I was able to adjust my B1 clips, and I was so pleased with the results that I posted a little "how to" instruction sheet on this forum. Eventually, I acquired some shock mount clips for my B1's (my B3 came with a shock mount clip). I believe new B1's (and B3's) come with a shock mount clip these days. Anyway, my SP B1's and B3 have been excellent investments for me, FWIW.

I think that in most cases they will send out a shock mount to users who didn't get one when they bought their mics.

My position has always been that they're really nice people, and there are so many bad companies out there that Studio Projects mics don't NEED to be the best in the line, they only ever need to be competitive, and then they will have me as a customer for life because I don't have to deal with idiots like the folks at Behringer who told me my three-day-old and unused guitar amp would not get repaired for 18 months!!
