Slightly different Genre than the hard rock drummers previously (hey, it's all good.)
This is an old video of Jeff "Tain" Watts(playin' the buckets) with Branford Marsalis(on sax),the late Kenny Kirkland (on piano) and Bob Hurst (on bass) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AolLm912rZE
No speakers where I am, but that sounds like a monster track from hearing those players previously!
BTW, did you actually check out Benny Greb? Because I'd hardly call him hard rock What he plays is hard t master, and he rocks - if that's what you mean
I'd have to disagree there I'm afraid, his playing is very reminiscent of David Garibaldi, although he obviously adds his own style. His musical output as a whole, however, is definitely unique!
He has really great technique and a good stage presence. I'm not all that critical of other drummers unless they really suck and I tend to enjoy a lot of drummer's work.
He sounded like a rock drummer to me, isn't he?
