Behringer XENYX 802 Mixer..

Sound

Hi everyone,

Here I am back again wit an other question..
I want to buy a mixer so I don't have to crawl under my desk each time
I want to plug my guitar in the line-in of my soundcard..

I really don't have a lot of money.. I'm only 15 years old, so I don't work..
So I'm searching a mixer where I can plug in 1 mic and 1 guitar..
And this is what I've found:

A Behringer XENYX 802 Mixer...

It says that it has 2 busses.. But when I look at the mixer it has a channel
1,2,3/4,5/6.. What are the 2 last..

I don't understand this..

Having two busses means it has two independent mono outputs, or left and right for most applications.

Channels 1 2 3/4 5/6 can be routed to either, or both, of these outputs by means of switches and pan controls.

When it says 3/4 and 5/6 it generally means these are channels meant to be sent to the outputs as stereo and usually have line input only. You might use these to monitor the sounds coming back from your computer, or as inputs for fx devices, or stereo inputs from any stereo device (Keyboards).

Maybe you can download the PDF manual for that board and get a better idea of it's capabilities before you buy.
