Hi guys, I have Behringer Xenyx 1002fx and M-Audio Delta 1010lt and need help with setup. What I need to do is record vocal while hearing both the voice (with reverb!) and the backing track in the phones while recording the voice (without reverb!) only. Thanks in advance. If you have ICQ, my number is 233273538. Thanks

M Audio says
The Delta 1010-LT outputs can be connected to an external mixer or sound system, while the S/PDIF output can simultaneously feed a digital mixdown deck. The Delta Control Panel Software also controls a hardware mixer embedded in the PCI card, giving still more routing and mixing control
and Behringer says
Channels 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10 feature stereo paired 1/4" phone line inputs for keyboards, recorders and other stereo devices.
What you have to do is actually quite simple but getting your head around it can be challenging at first.
Record with your Delta as you normally would.
Run a couple of RCA lines from the choice of Lines Out in the Delta to a pair of 1/4" line inputs on the Behringer (Does it have RCA line inputs?) and plug your headphones into the Behringer.
You will probably have to experiment with the Delta Lines Out a little to get zero latency. I'm not familiar with the card.
Once you're done and happy with it, take a snapshot for future reference.

Hi Jim,

thanks for the advice, however I still cannot get it running. The software says there's no input, I have all the drivers updated, onboard sound turned off etc. I will try to upload pictures of the card and the mix and it would be really helpful for me if you could tell me exactly from where to where the lines should go. Thanks a lot in advance.

Dave
