hi,

i want to record bass and guitar by either Behringer VAMP / VAMP BASS. which one should i choose.

i want connect it to TASCAM US-122 and then my laptop for mixing.

i don't know about the bass vamp. I have the one for guitar and it's cool. you can always plug your bass directly to the mixer and get good results. with guitars you will want to have some different distortions and cab-sims.

The Bass V Amp Pro has some convincing guitar mods in it as well....I use it for electric guitar. The overdrive circuitry is pretty versatile, and I've gotten some neat sounds to come out of it, even with a guitar plugged in!! ;)

Never tried the guitar version, can't comment...

I have a regular guitar V-AMP Pro, and i get some pretty good bass sounds out of it. I use it for all my bass recoding as a DI. Here is a recording I did with it (keep in mind I am not a bass player)

I have some stuff that sounds tons better at home recorded by me, but played be real bass players. I can post them later if you want.

I'd go with the Bass VAmp. It has great patches for bass, electric & acoustic guitar, and keyboards. I have both and I find the Bass VAmp Pro to be a more versatile unit.

Here a couple more short bass recordings made using a V-AMP Pro direct:
