Behringer Ultrapatch PX1000 help

Hi. I need a little help in figuring out how the modules are supposed to be changed to change the modes on these. I'm pretty sure I want mode 5, half-normal. But the instructions and the diagrams don't really specify how the modules are supposed to be oriented for the different modes. They just show the possible signal flows. Thanks for your help!

Are you sure that it's not just automatic depending on where and what you plug in? I have an Alto patchbay that's like that.
