Behringer Ultragain Pro-8 Digital Ada8000

As much as I don't like Berhinger, yes that is a pretty good piece for the price. Its typical behringer, has the harsh highs, gritty sounding but it got some use in my studio. If you're talented enough I'm sure you could make this sound ok. I think the next closest competitor would be the octane by maudio, its around 500 bucks though. Not saying there aren't pre's between those two that sound better, its just for the adat connections and 8 pre's the octane is the next closest price wise.
 
I have one that I use as well. jonnyc makes a good point about it being typical behringer. Use it wisely and you can get some pretty good results with it. I've been using it for a little while.
 
Well worth the price, but I barely use the pres. I basically use it for all my hardware synths and it does a fine job on that. For me, having pres is a nice bonus. :) Just being able to use all of my 18 ins is great... :)

The few times that I use the pres, they've worked pretty well. Spoken word sort of stuff, mostly.
