I think iam gonna get this, but i need to figure some stuff about it out at first..... hoping you guys can help.

you can find it here

I was wondering if I could mix 4 things at once, (but 3 stereo becasue there are 1/4"stereo and only one xlr input) and the equing is all seperated kind of, and what is with the diffe3rent numbers assigned to each inpt :?

thanks for any help

what do u want to record?
for every mic u need an XLR input, of which this mixer only offers one! and an XLR input is mono, as a line input is..
but if you're only using line-signals, you can use up to 1 mono, and 2 stereo tracks - or 5 mono tracks (where you wont be able to control 2 mono tracks plugged into L and R of a channel strip, seperately..)

you would be WAY better with the ub802
it has two microphone inputs (XLR), and u have use 6 line inputs (PLUS 2, if you dont need the AUX returns..!) - or 2 mono (the XLRs..) and 2 stereo (3 with the AUX returns)

..AUX returns can be used to mix an external signal to mixer channels, if you dont use that feature you can use it as additional inputs :)

also, you can barely do anything useful with equalization (and only on one channel), on the ub502, where u have 3-band EQ for every channel, on the ub802!

but like i said, for every mic you want to record, u will need a XLR input! so the 2 the ub802 offers may not be enough for you..

oh yea.. u can only use the XLR input OR the line input of one channel..

Doesn't sound like this mixer has enough inputs for your needs.

Behringer hasother models slightly higher in price that would work better. The UB1202 only sells for $80 and has many more inputs.
