Behringer products !!!!!!

I was afraid to say it but I liked the V-amp better than the Pod as well.

I tried them both out at a Mars near hear and maybe it is my ears but I find the Pod sounds to be "lifeless." I think the Pod is so metal, but if you try to get good clean sounds out of it it fails. Granted the V-amp maybe not be as good in the amp modeling dept. but I felt like it was a bit more useful as an all around unit, especially if you don't use high gain/distortion sound exclusively.

again, maybe its my ears, but I used to play loud, distorted, industrial type music and I know a good rectifier when I hear one, but I also know a bad JC-120 too

i was reading a magazine article about the bass pod, and i had never seen one before or really taken any interest, but when i found out it existed i was elated (i di all my bass dry through the desk, which gets a bit boring)...any way i decided to find out how much one of these suckers cost, and now i know its more than i have....then i had a good look at this post, and anyway to cut the crap, is v-amp any good for bass?
 
Anyone tried the Magician?

I keep asking this, so sorry if you've seen it before, but I have yet to run across someone who actually bought one. It looks like a great idea to warm up some edgy preamps in my Mackie board.
 
I have the HA4400 headphone amp and am satisfied. I believe it now goes for around $80 - I paid 119 a few months ago.

4 independant channels. Ballanced main L+R input with a second input on the front. Each of the 4 channels has a secondary input so you can add an aux to the main mix and all ins are stereo - You in the aux in left ear. band in the right.

Plenty of volume.
 
Does anyone care that (all ?) Behringer equipment doesn't have Potmeters but Rotary switches? Can outboard gear survive such a 'feature'?
Does anyone have any experience with Behringer's tube series? Is the stuff cheap at all compared to other brands?
 
Behringer Headphone Amp

Just got my Behringer Powerplay headphone amp yesterday. I am 100% satisfied. It makes a very welcome addition to my home studio. Looks good in the rack too. $79 at www.musiciansfriend.com. Maybe I'll get some decent headphones now. Also, the manual states your combined load for each channel in the rear should be at least 100 ohms. Guess that knocks out the 60 ohm cans.

My manual stated that the impedance should not go under 100 ohms or the sound quality might be less than maximum. I used the HA4400 on a set of earplug rated 32ohms, and it worked fine! note that I didn't check the absolute quality of the sound, but there were no obvious problems.
Try it your self, you WON'T kill your device.

well I think u should go witht he C1 I dont particualrly like the ber mic...i would even do the akg c1000s before that one..and MXL even sounds better...I do like the company but the mic isn;t doin very well.
 
I own the MX2004A and a Mackie 1202. I've done A/B comparisons and found that the MX is a bit "dirtier" than the Mackie. But you know what? I kind of like that dirtiness. It reminded me of an old school, dusty, warm mixer. I really like some of the mixes I got off of it. Matter of fact, some mixes for a CD I've been working on have been picked over mixes done at a big name studio (I just don't think that engineer knew how to mix that music personally).

Would I buy one of their mixers again. Probably not. I'd be going digital next. Their mixer may be in the running, but I'd probably lean Yammie. But I would recommend the 2004 in a heartbeat. I've been a Behringer "hater" for years, but this one won me over.

Have 3 behringer mixers including the new Digital Jobby all work as advertised,
I find no diff. between the mic pre's on the Behringers to the ones on my spirit Folio SX.
I am using the Digital Mixer on Sat night for the first time in anger will let you Know how I get on
