Behringer Or Peavey

I'm in the market for a powered mixing board, 16 channel. I've narrowed it down to Peavey and Behringer. How do these 2 names compare. Is peavey overpriced. My band is all acoustic and we are not loud. I've a Peavey XR560 6 channel but need more places to plug in so A powered mixing board is the way I want to go. Thanks.

forget Behringer...

two other brands you should also look in to is Yorkville and Yamaha....

I am personally using the Yamaha EMX5000-20 in my church, love it!

For durability and overall quality Peavey has had a fairly solid reputation over the years. They've never really made any "classic" or "must have" pieces but are known to be reliable and for getting the job done. That said my first amp was some sort of second hand Peavy combo and two weeks after I sold it BLEW UP.
So who knows.

i'd go with Peavey over behringer any day. and i dont think Peavey is anywhere near overpriced, aren't they usually pretty low when it comes to price?
