I saw on american musical supply's web site that both these mixers the mx802a and 602a are the same price.
the 802 is larger and has more stuff on it wich would make it the logical choice....or is it?
all the info i've seen on the smaller 602 is more of a focus on the quietness of the circuitry inside, and says that it shares the same electronics as a multi thousand dollar mixing board?? also I heard the fact that it has less stuff on it means less power going through to cause noise. noise is really all I care about in a mixer right now but would like to buy a mixer for the future when i may need more inputs like the 802.

so does anyone know why one would be a better choice than the other for the same price?
($89.00)
is there a hidden reason?

I bought the 802 at $119 and thought it was a steal. $89 is criminal.

I figured it out.... it was a mistake on their website that I took advantage of.
they gave me the 802 at an incredible $89. they said they where going to fix it though, and I was the only, and last, to recive this discount.

I recived it today, it is my first mixer, and makes a HUGE differance.... it really is quiet. I don't really see what the more expensive mackie could give me this behringer can't??????

yeah, the preamps on mackies are so much better. They've got new preamp technology out aswell now. (XDR?)
