Ok i'm buying a laptop at the moment, just to use at gigs to play music and control a dbx driverack. I already have my recording rig consisting of 2 firepods. So i'm looking for a 2channel balanced output for the lappy. The f-control fits the bill, just wanting opinions on it and stuff, as i will just be using it purely for output not for recording

Cheers

the lappy
Is that anything like a puppy?

Does it grow up to be a full grown laptop?

I'll bet it's very cute...

i have the fca202 if thats what your talking about. it works great for what it does, simple two im two out. no more no less. it does both well.

at least behringer is subtly telling people their gear gets an "f-"

I only trust Behringer if there isn't too much audio involved. So yes, maybe a controller could do the trick for little money. Don't forget to be very careful with it, because in our experience with Behringer gear. They cut corners on materials and are often very fragile, and wear out after a couple of years.
