Hi,

Which of these units would be better for vocal/instrument limiting? Primarily I am looking for something that will let me track vocals and acoustic guitar as loud as possible without clipping. The Composer has a peak limiter which seems to be what I'm looking for, but someone said the Autocom is better for vocals b/c of the enhancer (plus it's $20 cheaper). Thx

Pls no flames about Behringer. They're the only thing I can afford right now :)

You wont get flames.....those units are decented respected here, especially for their limiting function.....

I have the Autocom, but ive yet to try out the "enhancer"...i think im just a little skeptical of it.....

Like Gidge-mo stated, they're both decent, middle-of-the-road,
comps that peform adequately.

The enhancer function on the AutoCom s/b used sparingly when there's any hi-end loss or degradation. Too much of it will add an
artificial "gloss" sound commonly associated with Maximizers!

So would the Autocom be OK for this purpose? I'm mainly just concerned about clipping - I have a couple compression plugins that I was going to use during mixdown instead of the Behringer. Thx
