I searched but I really didn't find much, so... I am recording a demo of my band and I want some info on the Autocom. Is it decent? In an earlier post a guy said with Behringer products it's ether hit or miss. Is this a hit or miss? Thanks!

I have an Autocom 1200 and it's great. I hear the 1400 isn't quite as good, but still adequate.

I have a composer and a multicom. The only drawback to the autocom is that you can't set attack/release times for it. If that's not a really big deal for you, then I'd say get it. Behringer seems to get it right when it comes to compressors.

The Behringer compressors are decent enough. I have one among some others and I like it. I have a low opinion of some of their other offerings but that's another story.

you can set the attack and release on the autocom, its the multicom that does'nt have attack release...

i have an autocom, and it isn't bad.....

My mistake. For a company that makes such a mess out of their mixers, they sure know how to make a good, cheap compressor.
