Beginnings of new metalcore track.

Hi there. Bought myself new audio interface lately, this track was created as a test of new gear, but I think it's pretty good piece of music, so I'm going to finish it. My mate will write lyrics and scream in some vocals. What do you think about it?

Not bad. The drums sound a little thin, but definitely feels like it could turn into something pretty good. The guitars sound quite grungy, instead of hardcore, and at first I didn't like it, but by the middle of the song, they grew on me. They're defintely different, but for this genre (if you get some insane drums to replace the thin ones), could work pretty well!

Here comes the update.

I composed and recorded rest of the track. Some things may just don't fit in there. Telling me what is wrong is what I'd ask you for.
Lyrics aren't ready yet, so vocals aren't recorded, but we're slowly getting to it. In the description at the soundcloud I posted what my friend wrote till now. Any advices about the lyrics are also welcome.
